Denim Tears and adidas Originals are joining forces for a new sneaker collaboration, bringing a fresh plaid look to two of adidas’ most iconic silhouettes.
Led by designer Tremaine Emory, the upcoming Denim Tears x adidas Originals capsule collection is part of a multi-year partnership between the two brands. The debut release features two classic models: the Denim Tears Superstar 82and Denim Tears Stan Smith 80.
Denim Tears x adidas Superstar 82
The Superstar 82 receives a full cotton canvas upper covered in a bold plaid pattern combining red, black, blue, and cream tones.
Additional details include contrasting serrated Three Stripes, deep blue upper accents, and an embroidered canvas heel tab. Metal eyelets and classic rubber tooling complete the design.
Denim Tears x adidas Stan Smith 80
The Stan Smith 80 follows the same plaid direction, featuring a cotton canvas upper with the collection’s signature colour combination.
It gets a deep green suede heel tab, perforated Three Stripes, and gold-foil adidas Originals and Denim Tears branding.
Both sneakers feature metal eyelets and co-branded details, giving the classic adidas silhouettes a distinctive Denim Tears finish.
Denim Tears x adidas Originals Release Date
The Denim Tears x adidas Originals debut capsule is scheduled to release on November 7, 2026.
The collection includes the Superstar 82 and Stan Smith 80, marking the first sneaker drop from the brands’ multi-year partnership.
